Fanny Stavjanik
Fanny Stavjanik , actually Franziska Stavjanik , (* 1966 in Vienna ) is an Austrian actress .
Life
Fanny Stavjanik is the daughter of the actor Edd Stavjanik and grew up in Munich and Vienna. She received her training at the drama school of the Volkstheater Wien , where she was part of the ensemble from 1988 to 1999. In 2001 she became known to a broader television audience with the lead role in the ZDF main evening series girl friends - friendship with heart . From 2001 to 2007 she starred as the hotel manager Iris Sandberg.
In 2008 she investigated as a commissioner in the Austrian crime scene: desire for children ; In 2009 she took on the role of Countess Esterházy in the ZDF two-parter Sisi by Xaver Schwarzenberger . In 2010 she played the mother of Udo Jürgens at the side of Ulrich Noethen in the ARD two-parter The Man with the Bassoon .
Stavjanik has received several awards for her acting skills. In 1993 she received the Karl Skraup Prize of the Vienna Volkstheater for her role as Edrita in the play Woe to the one who lies! by Franz Grillparzer . In 1997 she was awarded the Kainz Medal by the City of Vienna for her portrayal of Johanna in Arthur Schnitzler's play Der einsame Weg .
Fanny Stavjanik has lived in Berlin since 2003. She is married to the director Thomas Herrmann and they both have a son.

Between 1988 and 1999, Stavjanik played Gretchen in Goethe's Faust and the title role in Strindberg's Miss Julie at the Vienna Volkstheater . In Eugene O'Neill's Mourning Elektra she was on stage at the Vienna Volkstheater in the lead role of Lavinia together with Nicole Heesters ; together with Ulrich Matthes she also played in Don DeLillos Valparaiso (2000; directed by Niels-Peter Rudolph ).
In 2007 she was a guest at the Fritz Rémond Theater in Frankfurt with Yasmina Reza's God of Carnage in the role of Annette Reille. In 2016 she played at the Reichenau Festival in an adaptation of Heimito von Doderer's Demons (director: Hermann Beil ).
