Fraser Cartmell (born June 16, 1982 in Inverness ) is a British triathlete and Ironman winner (2010). He is on the best list of British triathletes on the Ironman distance .
Career
In 1997, Fraser Cartmell first started a triathlon after being an active swimmer in his youth.
In 2007 he started for the first time in the world championship on the long distance triathlon and finished twelfth
In August 2010 he won the Ironman UK with a new course record .
In 2015 he started for the second time at the Ironman Hawaii . In March 2016 he became the Scottish Vice State Champion Duathlon. In 2016 he started for the Pewag Racing Team and the Stirling Triathlon Club .
In July 2018 he finished seventh at the Ironman UK with a personal best in 8:36:24 h.
Fraser Cartmell is in a relationship with Alison Rowatt and lives in Stirling .
