Friedersdorf is a district of the Saxon community of Klingenberg in the district of Saxon Switzerland-Eastern Ore Mountains .

Neighboring places Friedersdorf are Pretzschendorf in the north, Röthenbach in the east, Hartmannsdorf in the southeast, Burkersdorf in the southwest and Oberbobritzsch in the west.
In the south of the Friedersdorf corridor is the Dittersdorf desert . She had a share in the places Hartmannsdorf and Kleinbobritzsch .
history
Friedersdorf is laid out as a Waldhufendorf and was first mentioned in 1360 as Friderichsdorf . In 1764 the place belonged to the Frauenstein office . As early as 1445, the administration was in the care of Frauenstein . In 1551 the manor Frauenstein exercised the manorial rule, since 1764 Friedersdorf is an official village. In 1856 Friedersdorf belonged to the Frauenstein court office , and in 1875 to the Dippoldiswalde district administration . In 1952 Friedersdorf became part of the Dippoldiswalde district as an independent municipality . On August 1, 1973, it was incorporated into Pretzschendorf. From 1994, the site was part of the district of Dippoldiswalde and district Freital formed Weißeritz circle . In August 2008, this was then merged with the Saxon Switzerland district to form the Saxon Switzerland-Eastern Ore Mountains district. Friedersdorf has been part of the Klingenberg community since December 31, 2012.

The place Friedersdorf is on the state road 189, which leads from Grillenburg to Frauenstein . Between 1898 and 1971 Friedersdorf had a connection to the narrow-gauge railway Klingenberg-Colmnitz-Frauenstein with the Friedersdorf station (b Frauenstein) . The next train stations today are Klingenberg-Colmnitz , Niederbobritzsch and Lichtenberg .
