The district league Potsdam 1953/54 was the second staging of the district league Potsdam carried out by the district technical committee (BFA) football Potsdam . It was the top division in the Potsdam district and the third highest in the league system in the DFV area .

The BSG unit Brandenburg became district champion and rose directly there through the expansion of the GDR league to three seasons.

Last year's climbers, Traktor Pritzwalk and Motor Luckenwalde , descended into one of the subordinate district class groups. In return, the following season rose from the district class Empor Zossen and Lokomotive Kirchmöser . BSG Motor Hennigsdorf was added from the GDR league .
