^ GDR League 1983/84 5 relays of the
Potsdam district class ↓ |
The district league Potsdam 1983/84 was carried out on two tracks for the last time after nine seasons and was the 32nd staging of the district league Potsdam carried out by the district technical committee (BFA) football Potsdam . It was the top division in the Potsdam district and the third highest in the league system in the DFV area .
As in the previous year, BSG Stahl Oranienburg was the winner of the North Season in the finals for the district championship . Opposite them was the winner of the southern season, BSG Motor Ludwigsfelde . After both teams won their away games, the goal difference decided for the Ludwigsfelder trained by Günter Rosenthal . Motor qualified for the promotion round to the superordinate GDR league , in which they took fourth place in season 2 and thus remained in the district league.
By reducing the GDR league for the following season from five to two seasons, Chemie Premnitz , Stahl Hennigsdorf and Motor Süd Brandenburg were relegated to the district league. At the same time as the GDR league, the district league was reduced from two to one relay for the following season and 15 teams were relegated to one of the subordinate district class relays. From the north, these were Aufbau Zehdenick, Blau-Weiß Walsleben, SG Finkenkrug , Eintracht Alt Ruppin, the second representative of Chemie Premnitz, SG Sachsenhausen, Rot-Weiß Nennhausen and the loser in the playoffs for the district league remaining the BSG Empor Wusterhausen. Motor Rathenow , Tractor Niemegk, Lokomotive Jüterbog, Lokomotive Ketzin, Dynamo Königs Wusterhausen, Fichte Baruth and SG Bornim descended from the south . In return for the following season, the first two of the promotion round to the district league rose to HSG Dynamo Potsdam and BSG Aufbau Brandenburg .

Then Stahl increased it to 3: 1 through Klaus Gallinat and Frank Weißbrich, before Ralph Mlodzian managed to connect Ludwigsfelde in the 85th minute. The second leg rose a week later on Saturday, May 19, 1984 in front of 1,500 spectators on the Friedrich-Ludwig-Jahn sports field in Oranienburg . After a goalless first half, Sauer (48th), Rüdiger Uentz (63rd) and Jesiek (68th penalty ) shot Ludwigsfelde for the second district championship title, as Oranienburg could only shorten it with a converted penalty from Klaus Gallinat in the 83rd minute.
