District League Potsdam 1970/71
^ GDR League 1971/72
4 seasons of the
Potsdam district class ↓

The district league Potsdam 1971/72 was the 20th edition of the district league Potsdam carried out by the district technical committee (BFA) football Potsdam . It was the top division in the Potsdam district and the third highest in the league system in the DFV area .

After deducting ten plus points for BSG Chemie Premnitz after the end of the season , BSG Motor Hennigsdorf secured its seventh district championship title and, after a two-year absence, went straight to the higher-level GDR league .

With the relegation of Motor Babelsberg from the GDR league, its own secondary agency was downgraded to the subordinate district class. The second relegated was the BSG locomotive Jüterbog. In return, in the following season, those who had been promoted from the previous year, Aufbau Zehdenick and SG Bornim, rose.
