Potsdam district class ↓

The district league Potsdam 1973/74 was the 22nd staging of the district league Potsdam carried out by the district technical committee (BFA) football Potsdam . It was the top division in the Potsdam district and the third highest in the league system in the DFV area .

After deducting 14 plus points for BSG Motor Hennigsdorf after the end of the season , BSG Motor Ludwigsfelde secured its first district championship title and rose directly to the higher-level GDR league .

Since the district league for the following season 1974/75 was expanded to two seasons for the second time after 1961/62 , there were no relegations to the subordinate district class seasons. In return, there were twelve promoted from the district class to the district league. These consisted of the first three of the four seasons. Another four teams from the district league and district class Berlin were integrated into the district league.
