The district league Potsdam 1964/65 was carried out on a single track again after three seasons and was the 13th staging of the district league Potsdam carried out by the district technical committee (BFA) football Potsdam . It was the top division in the Potsdam district and the third highest in the league system in the DFV area .
Motor Hennigsdorf was able to successfully defend its district championship title from the previous year and qualified for the promotion round to the GDR league . There, the Hennigsdorfer took first place in season B and rose to the GDR league.
Lokomotive Wittstock and Motor Rathenow were relegated to one of the subordinate district classes . In return, ASG Vorwärts Blankenfelde, Chemie Brieselang and Motor Mögelin, who had been relegated from the previous year, rose in the following season .
