Potsdam district class ↓

The district league Potsdam 1975/76 was the 24th staging of the district league Potsdam carried out by the district technical committee (BFA) football Potsdam . It was the top division in the Potsdam district and the third highest in the league system in the DFV area .

In the finals for the district championship, the winner of the North Relay Motor Hennigsdorf and the winner of the South Relay from the previous year, relegated from the GDR League Motor Ludwigsfelde, faced each other. After a 3-0 home win and subsequent draw in Ludwigsfelde, the Hennigsdorf team secured their eighth district championship title and were promoted directly to the higher-ranking GDR league.

Due to the immediate relegation of last year's champion Chemie Premnitz from the GDR league, the own second representation was downgraded back to the district class after one year of membership. Further relegations to one of the subordinate district classes were from the north locomotive Wittstock and Motor Pritzwalk as well as from the south Dynamo Königs Wusterhausen, last year climbers Aufbau Halbe and Lokomotive Jüterbog. In return, all four season winners of the district class rose to the district league for the following season. After a year of absence, the BSG Empor Wusterhausen (season A) and the BSG DEFA Babelsberg (season B) succeeded . With the BSG Traktor Häsen (season C) and the BSG electronic Teltow (season D) , two new district league players were added.
