The district league Potsdam 1957 was the sixth staging of the district league Potsdam carried out by the district technical committee (BFA) football Potsdam . It was the highest division in the Potsdam district and the fourth highest in the league system in the DFV area .

The second representation of Rotation Babelsberg secured the district championship title as a newcomer with one point ahead of the tied teams from Stahl Brandenburg and Lokomotive Kirchmöser . These three teams rose directly to the superordinate II. GDR league , which was increased from two to five seasons for the following season.

Construction Zehdenick and Motor Teltow descended into one of the subordinate district classes . In return, the season winners Empor Neuruppin , ASG Vorwärts Potsdam and Eintracht Miersdorf as well as the second from Season B Aufbau Brandenburg were promoted to the district league for the following season .
