The Thuringia national soccer class 1951/52 was the fourth and final event of the Thuringia national soccer class . Again, the national class was held with 14 teams in a round-robin tournament. In the end, the BSG activist Kaiseroda Tiefenort prevailed with two points ahead of the promoted 1. FC Sonneberg and rose to the GDR soccer league in 1952/53 .

Since the federal states in the GDR were liquidated in the summer of 1952 and 14 districts took their place , GDR football had to adapt to the new administrative structure with its league system. The national leagues were dissolved and replaced by 14 district leagues . Instead of football Landesklasse Thuringia were the Football League District Erfurt , the Football League District Gera , the Football League District Leipzig and the Football League District Suhl .
