The Association League Niederrhein 1968/69 was the 13th season of the Association League Niederrhein , which was the top division in the Lower Rhine amateur football of men from 1957 to 1978 . From 1963 to 1974, this league, together with the association leagues Middle Rhine and Westphalia, formed the substructure of the Regionalliga West and was third-class in the German football league system of that time .

Season end

The SSVg Velbert became Niederrheinmeister and rose to the Regionalliga West. Viktoria Wuppertal , VfvB Ruhrort-Laar and SpVgg Sterkrade-Nord were relegated to the Lower Rhine regional league . Union Ohligs , SC Kleve and VfB Speldorf rose from the national leagues for the new 1969/70 season . Relegated Eintracht Duisburg came from the Regionalliga-West .
