The Lower Rhine Football Regional League 1954/55 was the eighth season of the highest amateur class in the area of the Lower Rhine Football Association under the name Landesliga . The Landesliga Niederrhein was located below the 2nd League West and divided into three groups. Marathon Remscheid was Niederrhein Champion 1955 and rose to the 2nd League West. Sterkrade 06/07 represented the Lower Rhine at the subsequent German amateur championship . A total of five clubs from the three national league groups were relegated.
