FutureSex / LoveSounds is the second studio album by the US singer Justin Timberlake . It was released on Jive Records in September 2006 .

history

After the success of Justified , Timberlake was in the record industry, but was also seen on television, such as the show Saturday Night Live . He also took on several film roles. Timberlake worked at FutureSex / LoveSounds , for which he was more rock influenced, except with Timbaland with producer Rick Rubin . The album peaked at number 1 in the UK and the US.

criticism

On the website Allmusic.com the reviewer gave 3.5 out of 5 stars. He wrote that Timberlake was as unpretentious as Timberlake, but that the album was fascinating because he pursued a clear musical vision, even if it was misguided. Robert Christgau wrote: "'She's freaky but I like it' ?? Dude's more confused than he wants you to think (" My Love, "" SexyBack ")." ("The boy is more confused than he'd like you to think.") He gave three stars.
