Grote Prijs Briek Schotte

The Grote Prijs Briek Scot is a cycling - day race , which in since 1941 Belgian Desselgem is discharged. The race is named after the Belgian cyclist Alberic "Briek" Schotte , who himself won the first three events in the early 1940s. Since his death in 2004, the race has been dedicated to his memory.

The race is held annually - with interruptions. There were two editions in 1942 and 1947.

The record winner of the race is the Belgian Gilbert Desmet with four successes .
