Gediminas Kazlauskas

Gediminas Kazlauskas (born February 22, 1959 in Panevėžys ) is a Lithuanian manager, civil engineer, politician and environment minister (2008–2012).

biography

Gediminas Kazlauskas graduated from the Second Middle School in Panevėžys in 1977 . He then studied industrial and civil engineering at the Institute of Civil Engineering Vilnius (now VGTU ). In 1982 he finished his studies. Kazlauskas worked in management positions in several European companies. He was a specialist in public contracts in the Lithuanian Ministry of Education (2002) and Ministry of Social Protection and Labor (1996-2001). From December 9, 2008 to 2012, he was Minister of the Environment of Lithuania (his candidacy was supported by Tautos prisikėlimo partija ). Gediminas Kazlauskas is non-party.

Kazlauskas speaks English and Russian.

family

Gediminas Kazlauskas has three children. In 1998 he married Renata Kazlauskienė (* 1977), they both have a son.
