Directorate-General for Employment, Social Affairs and Inclusion

The Directorate-General for Employment, Social Affairs and Inclusion (EMPL) is a Directorate-General of the European Commission . She is assigned to the Commissioner for Employment and Social Rights Nicolas Schmit . The head of the general management is Joost Korte .

The Directorate-General was created as the successor to the Directorate-General for Employment, Social Affairs and Inclusion .

Directorates

The directorate-general is based in Brussels and is divided into seven directorates:

  • Directorate A: Employment and Social Governance
  • Directorate B: Employment
  • Directorate C: Social Affairs
  • Directorate D: Labor Mobility
  • Directorate E: Qualification
  • Directorate F: Investments
  • Directorate G: Audit, Evaluation and Communication
