Ghosts (English for ghosts ) is a song by Michael Jackson from his remix album Blood on the Dance Floor - HIStory in the Mix . It is the b-side of the single HIStory and was released in 1997.

Emergence

Jackson wrote the single with his longtime companion and friend Teddy Riley , with whom he also worked on Jackson's album Dangerous . The paranoid lines make this song a well-known Jackson song.

Music video / short film

There is a music video of the same name for Ghosts or a short film with Jackson in a double role as the creepy maestro and the older, fat mayor . In the short film, the songs Ghosts , Is It Scary and 2 Bad from the double album HIStory - Past, Present and Future Book I are played. Jackson wrote the script with Mick Garris , the director of the music video Stan Winston and the successful writer Stephen King . The low success of the video in the USA meant that the film never appeared in German cinemas.
