Gili & Galit

Gili & Galit ( Hebrew גילי וגלית) was a short-lived Israeli singing duo consisting of Gili Netanel (* 1977) and Galit Burg (* 1968).

As winners of the Israeli preselection, they were allowed to compete for Israel at the Concours Eurovision de la Chanson 1989 . They reached number 12 with the pop ballad Derech hamelech . Although the single was successful in Israel, an English version called Shine for Tomorrow was no longer available.
