The Gmina Świebodzin [ ɕfjɛˈbɔd͡ʑin ] is a town-and-country municipality in the powiat Świebodziński in the Lubusz Voivodeship in Poland. The municipality has about 30,000 inhabitants, its seat is the district town Świebodzin ( German  Schwiebus ).

geography

The community is located in the Neumark , 65 kilometers east of Frankfurt (Oder) and 35 kilometers north of Zielona Góra (Grünberg) . The Puszcza Rzepińska (Reppen Heath) stretches to the west of the city and there are several small lakes in the immediate vicinity.
