Gustav Adolf Brumhard (born September 29, 1805 in Bromskirchen , † January 16, 1885 in Zwingenberg ) was a Hessian judge and politician and a former member of the 2nd Chamber of the Estates of the Grand Duchy of Hesse .

Gustav Adolf Brumhard was the son of pastor Johann Georg Theodor Wilhelm Brumhard (1763–1846) and his wife Karoline nee Varnhagen (1770–1855). Gustav Adolf Brumhard, who was a Protestant, married Hedwig born Winterberg (1810–1843) on October 3, 1835 in Korbach .

education and profession

Gustav Adolf Brumhard studied law at the University of Giessen from 1823 . After completing his studies, he became an accessist in Gießen and then an assessor in Schotten . In 1835 he became assessor at the Friedberg Regional Court and in 1842 at the Giessen City Court . In 1843 he became a district judge in Laubach , in 1850 in Lorch and in 1856 in Zwingenberg . In 1879 he retired.

politics

In the 14th to 18th electoral term (1851–1866) Gustav Adolf Brumhard was a member of the second chamber of the state estates of the Grand Duchy of Hesse. In the state estates, he initially represented the constituency Starkenburg 5 / Heppenheim and from 1856 the constituency Starkenburg 11 / Heppenheim.
