Höhendorf is a village and a cadastral municipality in the municipality of Rappottenstein in the Zwettl district in Lower Austria .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there were a total of 19 building areas with 4,842 m² and 10 gardens on 2,878 m² in the cadastral community of Höhendorf , in 1989/1990 there were 19 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 56 and in 2009/2010 there were 29 buildings on 57 building areas.

Land use

The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. 54 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 41 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 49 hectares and 46 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 37 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 56 hectares. The average soil climate number of Höhendorf is 17.9 (as of 2010).
