Roiten is a village and a cadastral municipality in the municipality of Rappottenstein in the Zwettl district in Lower Austria .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there were a total of 46 building areas with 22,021 m² and 25 gardens on 2,675 m² in the cadastral community Roiten , in 1989/1990 there were 53 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 151 and in 2009/2010 there were 85 buildings on 162 building areas.

Land use

The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. 257 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 315 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 227 hectares and 341 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 208 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 346 hectares. The average soil climate number of Roiten is 16.9 (as of 2010).
