Großgundholz is a village and a cadastral municipality in the municipality of Rappottenstein in the Zwettl district in Lower Austria .
Settlement development
At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there were a total of 32 building areas with 14,687 m² and 20 gardens on 12,049 m² in the cadastral community Großgundholz , in 1989/1990 there were also 32 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 85 and in 2009/2010 there were 48 buildings on 84 building areas.
Land use
The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. 263 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 126 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 228 hectares and 160 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 220 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 160 hectares. The average soil climate number of large groundwood is 21 (as of 2010).
