Reichenbach is a village and a cadastral municipality in the municipality of Rappottenstein in the Zwettl district in Lower Austria .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there were a total of 12 building areas with 6,151 m² and 3 gardens on 486 m² in the cadastral community Reichenbach , in 1989/1990 there were 14 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 23 and in 2009/2010 there were 15 buildings on 22 building areas.

Land use

The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. 69 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 88 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 62 hectares and 95 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 55 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 96 hectares. The average soil climate of Reichenbach is 14 (as of 2010).
