Pfaffendorf is a village and a cadastral municipality in the municipality of Rappottenstein in the Zwettl district in Lower Austria .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there were a total of 25 building areas with 15,410 m² and 7 gardens on 1,466 m² in the cadastral community of Pfaffendorf , in 1989/1990 there were 24 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 48 and in 2009/2010 there were 31 buildings on 48 building areas.

Land use

The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. 129 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 334 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 109 hectares and 351 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 96 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 357 hectares. The average soil climate in Pfaffendorf is 14.5 (as of 2010).
