Oberrabenthan is a village and a cadastral municipality in the municipality of Rappottenstein in the Zwettl district in Lower Austria .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there were a total of 24 building areas with 11,829 m² and 11 gardens on 5,260 m² in the cadastral municipality of Oberrabenthan , in 1989/1990 there were 38 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 68 and in 2009/2010 there were 42 buildings on 69 building areas.

Land use

The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. 176 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 102 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 149 hectares and 128 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 140 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 128 hectares. The average soil climate number of Oberrabenthan is 19.1 (as of 2010).
