Pehendorf is a village and a cadastral municipality in the municipality of Rappottenstein in the Zwettl district in Lower Austria .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there were a total of 96 building areas with 35,047 m² and 24 gardens on 5,038 m² in the cadastral community of Pehendorf , in 1989/1990 there were 95 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 221 and in 2009/2010 there were 158 buildings on 233 building areas.

Land use

The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. 515 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of 1979/1980 and 403 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 477 hectares and 436 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 437 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 454 hectares. The average soil climate of Pehendorf is 16.8 (as of 2010).
