Riebeis is a village and a cadastral municipality in the municipality of Rappottenstein in the Zwettl district in Lower Austria .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there were a total of 17 building areas with 6,411 m² and 15 gardens on 15,341 m² in the cadastral municipality of Riebeis; In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 42 and in 2009/2010 there were 20 buildings on 31 building areas.

Land use

The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. 83 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 50 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 77 hectares and 56 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 74 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 57 hectares. The average soil climate of Riebeis is 20.3 (as of 2010).
