Grünbach is a village and a cadastral municipality in the municipality of Rappottenstein in the Zwettl district in Lower Austria .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there were a total of 22 building areas with 13,633 m² and 10 gardens on 4,571 m² in the cadastral community Grünbach , in 1989/1990 there were 22 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 90 and in 2009/2010 there were 50 buildings on 91 building areas.

Land use

The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. 160 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 123 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 153 hectares and 129 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 138 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 132 hectares. Grünbach's average soil climate number is 16.1 (as of 2010).
