Hausbach is a village and a cadastral municipality in the Rappottenstein municipality in the Zwettl district in Lower Austria .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there were a total of 32 building areas with 13,407 m² and 7 gardens on 570 m² in the cadastral community Hausbach , in 1989/1990 there were 32 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 79 and in 2009/2010 there were 53 buildings on 84 building areas.

Land use

The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. 183 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 189 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 162 hectares and 206 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 148 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 209 hectares. Hausbach's average soil climate number is 15.1 (as of 2010).
