The handball lynx Buchholz 08-Rosengarten is a game community from the communities Rosengarten and Buchholz in Nordheide in the district of Harburg in Lower Saxony . The women's handball team belonged to the Bundesliga for two seasons . The team is currently playing in the 2nd Bundesliga . In 2018 and 2019 they won the championship, but renounced promotion to the Bundesliga for financial reasons.

The syndicate was originally formed as SG Handball Rosengarten in 2002 between TuS Nenndorf and TV Vahrendorf . From 2014, the SGH Rosengarten cooperated with Blau-Weiss Buchholz and from then on appeared as SG Handball Blau-Weiß Rosengarten-Buchholz . Three years later this cooperation was ended and the SGH Rosengarten and the handball department of TSV Buchholz 08 merged.
