Hans Georg Anscheidt
Hans Georg Anscheidt (born December 23, 1935 in Königsberg (Prussia) , today Kaliningrad ) is a former German motorcycle racing driver .
Career
Anscheidt, who is trained as a motor vehicle fitter, was particularly suitable as a racing driver for the small displacement classes with his height of 166 cm.
Hans Georg Anscheidt began his career on Kreidler racing machines in the 50 cm³ class. In 1961 he was the 50th European Champion on Kreidler.
In 1966 , 1967 and 1968 Anscheidt was world champion in the 50 cc motorcycle class on a Suzuki .
For winning the world championship, he was awarded the silver bay leaf on February 3, 1967 .
He won a total of 14 motorcycle grands prix and also won seven times in the 50 cm³ class from 1962 to 1968, and the German motorcycle road championship in 1966 and 1967 in the 125 cm³ class .
In 1976, Hans Georg Anscheidt was honored with a special stamp from the African state of Equatorial Guinea for his great sporting achievements .
