Harald-Alexander Klimek (born October 3, 1959 in Frankenthal (Pfalz) ) is a German painter , draftsman , graphic artist , illustrator and collageur .

Live and act

After his apprenticeship as a draftsman in 1979–1982, he studied communication design and graphics at the University of Applied Sciences in Darmstadt -Mathildenhöhe from 1983–1988, received a scholarship in the Fulbright program in the United States in 1988 and studied in 1988– 1990 painting and printmaking at the Pratt Institute in New York City . In 1990 he completed his Master of Fine Arts (MFA) studies , returned home, applied for funding from the Kulturfonds der neue Bundesländer foundation in Berlin in 2000 and from then on lived as a freelance artist in Berlin, Speyer and now in his native Frankenthal .
