Alles Klara is a German early evening crime series that was broadcast from April 5, 2012 to May 16, 2017 on Erste . She played in Quedlinburg in the Vorharz . The series consisted of 48 episodes in three seasons. The series originally started as part of the previous evening crime series Heiter bis tödlich, so the 1st and 2nd seasons ran with the series title as Heiter bis tödlich : Alles Klara .

The first part of season 3 was filmed in the summer of 2015 and was broadcast from March to May 2016. The second part of season 3 was filmed from September to December 2016. These new 8 episodes were broadcast from March 28, 2017 to May 16, 2017 on the first every Tuesday at 6:50 p.m.

In February 2018, the leading actress Wolke Hegenbarth announced that she was leaving the series. The ARD then declared that it did not want to continue the series after Hegenbarth's departure.

action

Klara Degen is fired. She finds a job with the Kripo as a pregnancy replacement for secretary Beil. She constantly investigates the murder cases on her own initiative and rarely to the delight of her superior Paul Kleinert, and helps decisively to find the real perpetrator. Klara repeatedly threatens to be dismissed. The Quedlinburg police force is also threatened with closure as the last regional office and the tasks are to be transferred to the Magdeburg police force.

The pattern of action clever secretary from the police station solves the case continues the concept of the series Adelheid and her murderers . Klara Degen is often in mortal danger at the end of the case, from which she always rescues the timely arrival of her boss.

characters

Klara Degen

(played by Wolke Hegenbarth ) initially lives with her sister and loses her job because her sexually harassing employer was murdered. She is divorced, which is only mentioned in the pilot episode. Her birthday is December 17, 1982, and she lost three jobs in the last year. When the police question her as a murder suspect, she shows her computer skills. After she had researched on her own and was able to exonerate herself, she was hired as a pregnancy replacement for the secretary of the Quedlinburg police station. Since Klara continues to investigate alongside her boss Paul Kleinert, she is often facing dismissal, which is then repeatedly withdrawn. A kind of love-hate relationship develops between the two, both professionally and privately. They appreciate and like each other without wanting to admit it. When Klara moves out of her sister's house and takes her own apartment, it is not only in the same house as her boss's, but right next to it. She has a very good relationship with other colleagues and also with the head of the commissioner's office.

Klara is a very feminine and self-confident young woman who usually dresses in a sporty and very fashionable way. She almost always wears short skirts, dresses or short pants. Her usual means of transport is her bicycle, which often tells the inspectors where she is when she has found the perpetrator in front of her boss. She is regularly in danger because the perpetrator wants to eliminate Klara as a witness. At the end of the episode, Chief Inspector Kleinert often has to free, unleash or save her from the perpetrator.

Paul Kleinert

(played by Felix Eitner ) is the chief inspector from Quedlinburg. He is a conscientious cop who knows his stuff. However, he is often hasty in his decisions and then presents a murder suspect, whom he tries to impose his version of the crime on during interrogation, which Klara then regularly questions and ultimately corrects. Due to pressure from his boss, Dr. Müller-Dietz often only gets 24 hours to solve a case. Paul Kleinert's mother, Hermine Kleinert, lives in Magdeburg and runs a small pub there. She's not thrilled that her son is still a bachelor and sometimes stops him and his co-workers from investigating by calling him to the pub for renovations. Kleinert comes closer to Klara personally, but he does not allow a relationship that extends beyond a deep friendship. After the unexpected death of his mother, Kleinert decides to embark on a world cruise that she has still booked and paid for. But he does not do this voluntarily: Ms. Degen has arranged this change of booking to his person and also submitted his 180-day special leave for the trip, which is also approved. Kleinert is not enthusiastic about this at the beginning because he was passed over. Ultimately, he thanks Ms. Degen for this rebooking, and he has no alternative since his late mother had not taken out travel cancellation insurance and he would lose 25,000 euros if he did not take the trip. He later informed his colleagues in a postcard that he would probably not return to the Harz Mountains.

Stefan Lauer

(played by Marc Oliver Schulze ) comes to Quedlinburg as Kleinert's representative and also moves into his apartment. When he says goodbye, Klara Degen reads Kleinert's surprising message to his colleagues that he does not want to come back. It remains to be seen whether this will keep him in the Harz for longer.

Miss Dr. Müller-Dietz

(played by Alexa Maria Surholt ) is the head of the commissioner's office. She was transferred there after the previous leader is on cure and keeps sending gifts. Ms. Müller-Dietz always criticizes the work ethic and the diligence of her employees. Convinced of her higher vocation, she is considering entering local politics, but after some time drops her campaigning for district administrator.

Jonas Wolter

(played by Jan Niklas Berg ) is a young colleague who would like to switch to the LKA later . In Quedlinburg he is a detective master. Jonas Wolter is a good police officer and always surprises with his courage. However, he sometimes overshoots the target by repeatedly counting on the Mafia for simple crimes or by wanting to call in the LKA immediately .

Tom Olli Ollenhauer

(played by Christoph Hagen Dittmann ) is an employee of Chief Inspector Kleinert. As the son of the owner of the well-known butcher's shop Ollenhauer, he is in favor of eating (and in particular his preference for Mettbrötchen - a funny mistake made by the scriptwriters, because neither in Northern Thuringia nor in Saxony-Anhalt would anyone ever call a minced meat roll with onions that) known, for which he lets his job grind a bit. Tom Ollenhauer is mostly responsible for work at the desk, where he evaluates the murder victims' computers or checks people on the computer. Occasionally he covers Klara Degen when she is investigating on her own again and often brings him Mettbrötchen as a reward.

Sylvia and Jörg Wegener

(played by Winnie Böwe and Stephan Grossmann ) are sister and brother-in-law of Klara and have given her accommodation in their house until she has found her own apartment. While Sylvia works illegally as a hairdresser at home during her pregnancy, Jörg is on the night shift as a security guard and Klara has to borrow his car more often. He's a passionate rabbit breeder, which can be useful for Klara's investigation. They both have a daughter Lena (played by Antonia Görner ), to whom a little brother named Lars joins in the course of the series.

Dr. Muenster

(played by Jörg Gudzuhn ) is the responsible medical examiner at the Quedlinburg Criminal Police . He's good at his job, but he'd rather go fishing than dig for dead bodies. He regularly complains about the poor conditions in his laboratory. Occasionally he refers to his colleagues from Magdeburg when he doesn't feel like it himself. In addition to fishing, classical music is also one of his passions. The role name is to be understood as an allusion to the popular Münster crime scene , in which the forensic specialist Prof. Boerne plays a leading role.

Lutz Christoph

(played by Sebastian Achilles ) is a master carpenter with his own "one-man business" in Quedlinburg and is single. When he was repairing the sliding window between the offices of Chief Inspector Kleinert and Klara, he met Klara for the first time and became her “love interest”. He is balanced, confident, loves his job and catches Klara's relationship fears in a playful and humorous way. The main problem with both is the “asynchronicity in the attachment speed”. After initial problems, he gets closer to Klara and they both decide to look for an apartment together. When this is found, however, Klara backs down and they part.

The shooting time for season 1 was from July 26th to December 22nd, 2011. Reviews

One day before the first broadcast, Focus Online already judged:

"The stories smell less of classic crime thriller than of playful boulevard comedy, with Quedlinburg am Harz as a picturesque backdrop."

- Focus Online : ARD crime series “Heiter bis tödlich”: “Alles Klara” is supposed to adjust the quotas.

Also on the day before the first episode of the second season, Kevin Kyburz criticized this episode because of its lack of depth in terms of content and the lack of features of a crime novel, but without taking into account the targeted comedic part. On the other hand, however, he praises the choice of location and says: “The series could benefit from the fact that the characters are conceived as walking stereotypes”, to sum up:

"Technically, the series is good craftsmanship, as is often the case with productions with poor content on the part of public broadcasters, the scenery is to be praised and for the target group of the first one certainly the most important reason to tune in" Alles Klara "."
