life and work

Helmut Zhuber received his acting training at the Mozarteum University in Salzburg. Since 2001 he has been a regular guest on the screen, often in crime series such as Die Männer vom K3 , Tatort , Bella Block or SOKO Wismar , but also in literary adaptations such as Das Feuerschiff based on the novella by Siegfried Lenz or in the role of the National Socialist headmaster Hinrich Wriede in Negroes, Negroes, chimney sweeps! , the autobiography of Hans-Jürgen Massaquois .

In addition to extensive work as a speaker for radio plays and audio books, Helmut Zhuber taught as an acting lecturer at the University of the Arts in Berlin and the School for Drama Hamburg . Since 2009 he has been Univ. Prof. for acting at the Thomas Bernhard Institute of the Mozarteum University in Salzburg.
