Hermione Diethelm
Hermine Diethelm , also Herma Diethelm , (born August 21, 1915 in Vienna , † September 21, 1997 in Mödling , Lower Austria ) was an Austrian film editor .
Life
Hermine Diethelm began her career in film as an adhesive, before becoming an editor shortly after the end of the war. The Viennese produced the final version of numerous comedies from the hands of long-serving veterans such as EW Emo , Alfred Stöger , Hubert Marischka , Max Neufeld , Eduard von Borsody and above all Franz Antel .
Together with her colleague Paula Dworak, she also made the cut in 1954 for Helmut Käutner's anti-war film The Last Bridge , which was filmed in Yugoslavia the previous year and which received critical acclaim . Since the late 1960s she was mainly active in television, for example for Theodor Grädler's Elisabeth, Empress of Austria .
In 1996 she appeared in the documentary Attention Admission. 100 years of film technology in Austria in front of the camera.
