Hermocrates (potter)
Hermocrates ( Greek Ἑρμοκράτης ) was an Attic potter towards the end of the 6th century BC. Chr.
Hermocrates is only known from a signature on the fragment of a red-figure decorated bowl . The fragment was found on the Athens Acropolis and shows a boy blowing a double aleus. Today the fragment is in the National Archaeological Museum of Athens .
