IC 4882 is a bar-spiral galaxy of the Hubble type SBb in the constellation Telescope in the southern sky . It is estimated to be 208 million light years away from the Milky Way and has a diameter of about 60,000 ly.
In the same area of ​​the sky are the galaxies IC 4881 and IC 4883 .

The type II supernova SN 2005dk was observed here.

The object was discovered by DeLisle Stewart on September 17, 1901 .
