Taxco 1985 interzonal tournament

The Taxco 1985 interzonal tournament was held from June 9 to July 3, 1985 as a round-robin tournament with 16 participants in Taxco , Mexico . It was organized by the World Chess Federation FIDE and was intended to determine four participants in the candidates' tournament for the 1987 World Chess Championship .
