Jakow Sergejewitsch Belenki

Yakov Sergeyevich Belenki ( Russian Яков Сергеевич Беленький * 18th February 1915 in Petrograd , † 2. February 1989 in Moscow ) was a Soviet theater - and film - actor and voice actor .

Life and accomplishments

Belenki's parents were members of the Bolsheviks . The father Sergei Jakowlewitsch Belenki († 1957) joined the RSDLP in 1898 and acted as a professional revolutionary . In 1918 he became Lenin's head of security and was also an assistant to Feliks Dzierżyński . Sergei Belenki also worked in the People's Commissar for Finance. The mother Anna Markovna Belenkaya (1883–1955) joined the RSDLP in 1903. After the revolution she also devoted herself to party work, later she got a job in the Bolshevichka sewing shop .

After the end of his school career, Jakow Belenki entered the Moscow Aviation Institute "Orschonikidze" in 1934 , but switched to the "Shchepkina" theater school in 1937 , where he attended the drama faculty . In 1941 he received an engagement at the Maly Theater . In 1943 Belenki volunteered for military service and was deployed as a medic in the 13th Airborne Brigade on the Karelian and 3rd Ukrainian fronts . At the same time, he made amateur appearances . After the demobilization in December 1945, the 1st Army Theater took him in.

In 1951 Belenki was arrested and sentenced to five years in prison. An 8-month stay in prisons in Moscow and Vologda was followed by camp imprisonment in Vorkuta . In 1953 he was given an amnesty and one year later he was accepted back into the CPSU .

Immediately after his release he began to work as a voice actor in the Gorky film studio , from 1960 he was also an active actor there. Belenki was heard in the dubbed versions of over 130 European, African, American and Asian works. z. T. in films from the Central Asian republics , such as the film studio Tashkent produced historical film Тахир и Зухра ( Takhir i Suchra , 1945), in which he depicted the of Shukur Burkhanov Kalabatyr lent his voice. The oldest film and at the same time the only foreign cartoon in which it was heard is the American production Gulliver's Travels (1939).

Belenki has often appeared in front of the camera in productions aimed at young audiences. He worked with the directors Alexander Ptuschko , Alexander Rou and Boris Ryzarew , who are mainly known for their fairy tale films , appeared in two episodes of the children's program Фитиль ( Fitil , 1966/1972) and was in the Hungarian- Soviet comedy Kapaszkodj a fellegekbe!  (1971) can be seen. He gave serious roles e.g. B. in the 3-part drama Дни хирурга Мишкина ( Dni chirurga Mischkina , 1976) and in the crime film series Инспектор Лосев ( Inspector Losew , 1982).

Belenki retired in December 1986. He died in Moscow shortly before his 74th birthday.

Honors

Belenki was awarded the Order of the Red Star (1945) and the Order of the Great Patriotic War, Second Class (1985).
