Jan-Peter Kampwirth

Jan-Peter Kampwirth (* 1974 in Neheim-Hüsten , also known as Jan Peter Kampwirth ) is a German actor .

Life

Jan-Peter Kampwirth began an apprenticeship as a carpenter after graduating from high school . At the age of 18, he and his brother Stephan Kampwirth , who also became an actor, took part in a casting for an early evening series and later studied at the drama school in Bochum , which is affiliated with the Folkwang University of the Arts in Essen .

He gained his first stage experience at the Schauspielhaus Bochum , the Schauspielhaus Düsseldorf and the Residenztheater in Munich . In 2006 he was awarded the sponsorship prize of the Association of Friends of the Bavarian State Theater. From the 2007/2008 season he will be a member of the Cologne Theater Ensemble . Here he played in Waiting for Godot by Samuel Beckett and in Gerhart Hauptmann 's Die Ratten . Kampwirth has been a member of the Deutsche Schauspielhaus in Hamburg since 2013.

Jan-Peter Kampwirth worked in several film and television productions . In addition to appearances in television series such as Großstadtrevier and Mein Leben & Ich , he was seen in five episodes as Frederick in the 2009 comedy series Der kleine Mann . He played NCO Pilz in the ARD production Neue Vahr Süd and portrayed Bert Krien in Das Wunder von Wolbeck from the TV series Tatort with Axel Prahl and Jan Josef Liefers at the side of his brother Stephan .

Jan-Peter Kampwirth also works as a radio play speaker. You could hear him in Frau Ganter by the Luxembourg writer Guy Helminger together with Tanja Schleiff .
