Jason Nevins

Jason Nevins (* 1970 in New York ) is an American music producer and remixer .

Live and act

Nevins had been working as a remixer since the early 1990s. , The international breakthrough came in late 1997 after the song It's Like That by Run-DMC had newly produced. This remix reached the top position of the single charts in 30 countries and was sold about 5 million times. In the following period he remixed and produced other international hits, including Run-DMC's Tricky , We Want Some Pussy (vs. The Krew; originally by 2 Live Crew ) and Cypress Hills ( Insane in the Brain ). From 2001 onwards, he increasingly built rock elements into his remixes and productions and worked for very different artists, including NERD , Duran Duran and The Bloodhound Gang .

Even as a solo artist, Nevins was able to achieve some success at least in Europe with the song I'm in Heaven , which he released under the pseudonym UKNY.
