In 1684 the Bohemian Chamber sold Jauernig to the owner of the Rücker estate , Johann Isaias von Hartig .

After the First Silesian War in 1742 and finally after the Peace of Hubertusburg in 1763, Jauernig came to Prussia together with the County of Glatz . In 1793 Jauernig consisted of 27 houses in which 167 people lived. After the reorganization of Prussia, it belonged to the province of Silesia since 1815 and was incorporated into the district of Glatz from 1816–1945 . It formed its own rural community and belonged to the Tassau district . In 1939 there were 165 inhabitants.

As a result of the Second World War , Jauernig fell to Poland in 1945, like almost all of Silesia , and was renamed Jawornica . The German population was expelled . Some of the new residents were displaced from eastern Poland . 1975-1998 Jawornica belonged to the Wałbrzych Voivodeship .
