Jean-Christophe Grangé (born July 15, 1961 in Paris ) is a French writer and freelance journalist .

life and work

Grangé has been writing for the Série Noire on French television since 1989 and for various international newspapers such as Der Spiegel and the Sunday Times . His breakthrough as a writer was already with his first novel The Flight of the Storks . His novels have been translated into more than 20 languages ​​and sold over 500,000 times. Some of his novels have also been made into films.

Grangé also works as a screenwriter and wrote the screenplay for the film Vidocq in 2001 .

Private

Jean-Christophe Grangé is married and has three children.
