Wolfgang Pampel

Wolfgang Pampel (born April 3, 1945 in Leipzig ) is a German actor, singer and voice actor . He is the German voice of Harrison Ford and Larry Hagman .

Life

Pampel grew up in the GDR . After school he attended drama school in Leipzig . He appeared in various DEFA films in supporting roles. On the occasion of a guest performance in Wiesbaden in 1974 , he stayed in Germany. In 1985 he was featured in the action film Secret Code: Wild Geese .

Pampel lends his distinctive voice as the standard German speaker to the actors Larry Hagman and Harrison Ford . Harrison Ford embodied Indiana Jones , he also lent the voice in several computer games by LucasArts ; including in the games Indiana Jones and the Tower of Babel , Indiana Jones and the Legend of the Imperial Crypt and Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings . He also dubbed Michael Caine and Richard Chamberlain, among others . How many voice actors is grapefruit on Hörbuchproduktionen involved, most recently on The Da Vinci Code , Angels & Demons , The Lost Symbol , Inferno and Origin of Dan Brown and Fire Monks by James Rollins . In 2009 he received double platinum in the (Audiobook Award) for the audio book on Brown's Illuminati . Gold for Inferno im (Audiobook Award) followed in 2013 . In 2015, Da Vinci Code was awarded platinum in the audio book award. In 2005 Pampel received gold for sacrilege . In 2009 he took over the role of narrator in the radio play series Geisterjäger John Sinclair as Joachim Kerzel's illness replacement for eight episodes .

He lives in Vienna and also works as a musical performer, for example in The Phantom of the Opera and Elisabeth . At ORF he works as a speaker in documentaries, commercials or as a station voice .
