Joe Nieves
Joe Nieves (born November 22, 1977 in Brooklyn , New York City ) is an American actor . He was best known in Germany for the role of the waiter Carl MacLaren in How I Met Your Mother . He played the father of seven children, Tom Diaz, in the sitcom Right in the Middle and No Escape , which is about an extended family. Nieves himself has two children.
