Johann Spender OFM (* in Marburg ; † December 5, 1503 ibid) was auxiliary bishop in Cologne .

The Franciscan of the Cologne Franciscan Province received his doctorate as Dr. theol. and was designated auxiliary bishop for the Archdiocese of Cologne by Archbishop Hermann IV of Hesse . After the pope on November 4, 1482 to the titular of Cyrene was appointed Auxiliary Bishop in Cologne, he was on 18 November 1482 the Church of Santa Maria dell'Anima in Rome for consecrated bishop . From 1497 he was also a professor at the theological faculty of Cologne University .
