Johannes Welmecher
Johannes Welmecher OFMConv (* in Fritzlar ; † July 30, 1505 ) was auxiliary bishop in Paderborn , Cologne and Havelberg .
Johannes Welmecher, also called Helmicher, who belongs to the Order of the Minorites, was appointed titular bishop of Adramyttium (Adrimitanae) and auxiliary bishop in Paderborn on June 18, 1481 . Consecrated as bishop on July 2, 1481 in the church of Santa Maria dell'Anima in Rome , he was also active as auxiliary bishop for the Archdiocese of Cologne from January 1482 to May 1483 . From August 10, 1490 he was auxiliary bishop in the diocese of Havelberg .
