Judith von Radetzky

Judith von Radetzky (born July 28, 1957 in Berlin ) is a German actress .

Life

Von Radetzky completed her training at various international acting schools. After four years of theology studies in Berlin and Heidelberg , she went to the USA for two years in 1980 , studied with Leonard Pitt and at the Del Arte School for Mime and Comedy . This was followed by a time theater tour through Minnesota. She completed her training from 1981 to 1983 at the Ecole Jacques Lecoq in Paris . From 1996 to 1998 she took part in a post-education program in Berlin and Moscow as a student at the renowned Russian drama school GITIS under the direction of Jurij Alschitz .

Radetzky got her first engagement in 1983 at the Schnawwel , the children's and youth theater of the Mannheim National Theater , where she made her debut as Momo in the play of the same name after Michael Ende . Her other engagements led her to the theater, a. a. in Zurich , Tübingen (1987–1989), Basel (1989), Frankfurt am Main (1989), Konstanz (1989–1992), Stuttgart (1994–1996) and Berlin (1998–2003). From 1986 she was also seen in series, television films and feature films.

From 2004 to 2008 von Radetzky studied directing with the renowned director Anatolij Vassiliev in Lyon at the theater school there. In 2008 the plays Phaedrus and The Threatened Murderer were shown at the Avignon Festival under her direction . In February 2010 she directed Louise Millerin ( Cabal and Love ) by Friedrich Schiller at Ballhaus Ost in Berlin. In 2013 she directed the play Tür, Tür zu at TamS in Munich. 2014 she directed at the community center Gropiusstadt Measure for Measure by William Shakespeare as a great participatory district project. In 2015 she directed the play The Oppelts Have Sold Your House (TamS). In 2016 she staged Les Conjoints at the team theater in Munich together with her colleagues from Paris ( spectacle.laboratoire ) . In February 2016 was Radetzky for a role in the movie The rookie from Alexandra Sell occupied. In 2017 she directed the visit to Friedrich Dürrenmatt (community center in Gropiusstadt), in 2018 she directed Who is Afraid of Virginia Woolf? by Edward Albee (Theaterforum Kreuzberg).
